I. IDOLS ARE FORBIDDEN

II. ENCHANTMENTS
which comes from the Hebrew word for serpent or to hiss or whisper = a magic spell, to charm, to prognosticate, or divine is forbidden. Witches use them for supernatural effects. They are a spell or prayer to Satan
Lev 19:26 (KJV) neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
A. forbidden to observe the times = using clouds or birds in magic = lucky or unlucky days.
Iii. Familiar spirits
= to mumble; hollow sound; a necromancer; a ventriloquist; spirit guides are forbidden. Any fortune telling with whatever device is forbidden.
Lev 19:31 (KJV) Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Lev 20:6 (KJV) And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his peoplel Lev 20:27 (KJV) A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit,... put to death:
IV. We are not to use the sun, moon or stars = nature in worship.
Duet 4:15-19 (KJV)... 19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
V. DIVINATION
= seeking to obtain information about the future through occultic means such as a seance, fortune teller, cards, tea leaves divining for water, using articles of clothing of lost people to try to locate them is forbidden as satanic.
Duet 18:10-12 (KJV) There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
VI. Trying to speak to lost loved ones who have died through necromancy or mediums and seances where demons impersonate our dead loved ones is forbidden.
Isa 8:19-20 (KJV) And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak
not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
VII. Signs or fake miracles to try to prove that your a prophet from god are forbidden.
Isa 44:24-25 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; 25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
VIII. DRUGS OR SORCERY = drugs used with spells is forbidden.
Rev 9:20-21 (KJV) And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Spiritism - Hidden Practices
You need to ask the following questions to see if you have given a stronghold to Satan in your life
1.Have you visited a fortune teller?
2.Have you read or followed your horoscopes?
3.Has anyone hypnotized you or have you practiced self hypnosis or yoga?
4.Have you attended a seance?
5.Have you used an ouija board, crystal ball, or tarot cards?
6.Have you tried to remove warts and tried other types of healings through
some form of charm?
7.Have you tried to find missing objects or persons through a psychic?
8.Have you used an amulet or charm such as a crystal?
9.Have you practiced table lifting or levitating someone or have called on Mary
Worth?
10. Have you practiced any Satanic rituals whether white or black magic?
11.Has drugs, alcohol or immorality opened you up to demons?
12.The most common opening are ancestoral demons passed unto the third and fourth generation manifested in the family type of sin.
PRAYER OF RENUNCIATION - you may need to pray this as you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior or as a child of God.
As a child of God, purchased by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, I here and now renounce and repudiate all the sins of my ancestors. As one who has been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son, I cancel out all demonic working that has been passed on to me from my ancestors. In Jesus Christ Name! Amen! As one who has been crucified with Jesus Christ and raised to walk in newness of life, I cancel every curse that may have been put one me. I announce to Satan and all his forces that Christ became a curse for me when He hung upon the Cross. As one who has been crucified and raised with Christ and now sits with Him in heavenly places, I renounce any and every way in which Satan may
claim ownership of me. I declare myself to be eternally and completely signed over and committed to the Lord Jesus Christ. All this I do in the Name and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer to Rid House of a Demonic Familiar spirit acting like a departed loved one.
Dear God, I submit myself to you and the Holy Spirit’s person and power. I no confess my sins and any sin that gives Satan a reason for being here, asking that you will forgive and cleanse my sin. Any grounds that my sin has given Satan to be here I now put back under the shed blood of Jesus Christ and claim this house and all that is in it for Jesus Christ. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I command any demon spirit to leave this house and never return because the Bible says “Submit yourselves to God and resist the devil and he will flee.” By the power of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and his precious blood and His holy word I command that you never come back. I now ask God that your holy angels will protect this house and the presence of your Holy Spirit will be here testifying of the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ. IN JESUS CHRIST NAME I PRAY!
